- The
identical twins Maxim Ivanov (big) and Maxim Ivanov (small), both in
perfect health, go to Tom's pizza parlor for lunch and pack away four slices
each. They consume a total 9 grams of NaCl and drink one liter of water.
The next day Maxim( small ) finds
that he has gained one kilo whereas Maxim (big) has not gained any weight.
Why was Maxim ( big ) able to
excrete the sodium and water load and
Maxim ( small ) not?

hard-working student in Fluid Physiology class goes to the gym to play
squash ( big mistake, he has to go in Anatomy lab to study) and after a
two hour work-out finds he has lost 2 kilograms.
